Stress is the genesis of over 80 percent of all doctor’s visits. It is something that is mandatory to control if we wish to maintain a very healthy life to a very old age. Stress causes some diseases and makes others worse.

Stress increases the risk of:

● Heart attack
● High blood pressure
● Immune system disturbances
● Colds
● Flu
● Peptic ulcers
● Ulcerative colitis
● Stroke
● Insomnia
● Alzheimer’s disease
● Diabetes
● Herpes
● Depression
● Chronic heartburn
● Gastroesophageal reflux disease
● Irritable bowel syndrome
● Asthma
● Accelerated aging
● Premature death

There are some scientists who believe that Parkinson’s and other degenerative neurological disorders are brought on by stress. When stress reduces our immune system’s capability, we open up an opportunity for bacterial, viral and fungal infections. How many people do you know who have had some type of heart problem brought on by stress?

Stress induces behaviors that we normally might not accept, such as:

Stress affects more than our mind. It causes our:
